AAA HAS PRODUCED AFFORDABLE HOUSING for persons with disabilities, seniors, families, and students.  Some of this work has been “market rate.” Sponsors received funding through several different HUD programs, FmHA, (now called Rural Development), and FHA in Raleigh. Sources have provided full funding and loan guarantees. And many of his housing designs have been privately funded.

Prior to beginning his company, he was a Federal architect, charged with reviewing contracts and designs submitted by other architects and inspecting them as well. He has worked alone and in joint venture with other architects.

Andron routinely researches Building Codes to find least costly alternatives to design and construction. He has often consulted with other architects and engineers on Code compliance and alternate solutions. Andron maintains contact with several national experts as well not only in construction systems, but also energy and accessibility concerns.

FORMER FEDERAL ARCHITECT

Prior to AAA, as a Federal Architect, Andron reviewed and inspected government funded multi-family apartment complexes and designed and helped obtain federal funding for over 2,000 passive solar houses for low income families – in the early 1980’s.
